Julie was my direct manager and lead the change management to roll out a new mortgage origination platform to over 1200 individuals across our Mortgage Operations business and 3rd Party Distribution business. This roll out impacted over 20,000 Mortgage Brokers who work in partnership with Westpac Group and introduced a new loan origination journey to countless customers.

Julie is extremely dedicated, well thought out and flexible; she consistently cleared the way for obstacles faced. She saw issues at their root cause and addressed symptoms with a strategic approach. She places individual value at the centre of decision making and works hard to ensure solutions are relevant and fit for purpose.

I admire her leadership ability because she shows genuine care and empathy for others. Julie has an innate ability to create space and perspective during challenging or high stakes moments and allow outcomes to speak for themselves.

I was able to learn from and emulate her balanced, human-centric and customer orientated style during the course of the program and will continue to draw on the example she set for me.
